Introducing Harmonic Northwest!

May 20th, 2009 by Gage Pacifera

I’ve been meaning to put this site up for a while. For the past couple years I have thought that it would be nice to have a place to blog about the web technology I work with. The site could be a place for me to share useful bits of information, showcase some of my work, keep interested parties up-to-date on what I’m doing and maybe drum up some clients here and there.

My friend Kirk Finley is my brother-in-arms at Harmonic Northwest. He’s the ying to my yang.. he specializes in server-side stuff like Java and .NET while I take care of UIs with HTML , CSS, JavaScript and mad design skills. We’ve begun work on some ideas for web sites, facebook apps and iphone apps.. check back here for more info on those.

To those who attended my recent Webvisions presentation: I’ll post more info on pimping your web pages shortly. Hopefully most of it will be up by end of the month. You guys are really the impetus for getting this site up and running quickly, even if it is just using a generic-y default WordPress theme for the time being. I’m can truthfully say I’m excited about getting an updated Twitter JSON object parser finished soon.. this version will include hyperlinking!

Stay tuned!
