A Sleek and Fast Shopify Ecommerce Site

The Details
Shasta Pools is a premier pool builder that has been in business in Arizona for over 50 years. Their primary business is building custom swimming pools but they saw an opportunity to grow their already-substantial side hustle selling parts and equipment by putting up an online store.
The site we put together for them sells a variety of pool supplies that pool owners and contractors might need including pumps, lights, filters and sanitizers. There are over 200 products on the site, neatly categorized into fourteen categories. Customers can create accounts to keep track of their purchase history and save their credit card information online.
On the technology side, we built this as a headless Shopify site on Next.js using Shopify’s GraphQL API. Next.js is a React framework that is all the rage right now for some very good reasons: it produces lightning-fast load times, is great for SEO and developers love it for its ease-of-use and endless flexibility. It was fun and fast building on next.js.
In Conclusion…
We are quite happy with how the project turned out! It’s a lovely, zippy site that will certainly be a boon to the company’s bottom line. We’re already looking forward to the next project we get to build with this framework.
