Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

To begin the process of getting your website accessibility audit, fill out the form below and submit a payment of $299 (all major credit cards and PayPal accepted). We aim to have your report back to you within 2-3 weeks.

What is provided in the audit report?

We'll test your home page and two other prominent pages on your site to produce a list of actionable issues split into the categories of Perceivability, Operability, Understanding, Robustness and Legality. We'll note details about each issue, the number of times an issue was found and on which page. We'll also indicate ratings for severity of the issue, difficulty of the fix and a 1-5 star-based "fix value" that can help you prioritize which issues to fix first.

If I fix the issues in the report, will my site be WCAG 2.2 AA compliant?

We aim to call out everything preventing your site from achieving compliance. But do keep in mind that our audit tests only a cross section of pages. Your development team will need to identify issues similar to the ones we found that appear on the pages we didn't test and try to fix those, too. And you might consider ordering another audit after the issues have been addressed to ensure that they do indeed pass muster.

You can contact us to get a quote to do a more comprehensive audit of your site to ensure you reach full WCAG compliance.

What kinds of websites can be audited?

Great question! Our audits work for informational websites that might be built on a platform like WordPress, Squarespace, Wix or the like, and for ecommerce sites.

This service is not for sites that function more like web applications with a lot of custom interactivity or for online documents that are not web pages (i.e. PDFs).

Can Harmonic Northwest help fix my website's accessibility issues?
